Is Ducklink good for 64 bit Windows 10?

We often want to capture a scrolling window. Also it would be great to crop it. I had seen some say that Ducklink ScreenCapture is great but I can not see where I can d/l anything but a very old version. Is this still good and is there anything else we can use to do this?

    Hi:

In addition to the excellent info already provided, Techsmith Snagit is not free, but it will do scrolling window captures and so much more. It is well worth every penny, IMHO.
(I also have Screenpresso Free on one of my other computers. I do not think it will do a scrolling window, but perhaps the paid version might?)

    Cheers,

Thank you all. We do have Snagit but have NEVER had any luck capturing a scrolling screen! I had thought that Duckcapture would also let you crop the captured image. Perhaps I can just try it.

Duckcapture doesn't offer cropping. Whilst Picpick does, its scrolling capture is erratic. It may- succeed -occasionally; add black bars between segments; capture only the first segment.

Duckcapture is no longer supported, apparently. But it is the most reliable I know of for scrolling capture.

Give Ashampoo a 'look see', it's pretty reliable on the scroll capture and the editor has a host of tools!

It may be a great program - I tried it a couple of times briefly- and is given away periodically- but I have a launch bar (sTablauncher) docked at the top, and often use Desktop Sidebar with RSS feeds docked to the left (both normally hidden). But for those who don't use these.. :)

There are so many versions of AShampoo. Which one could I use to do this? Is this snap 2017?
