How can I change the resolution for a specific program?

    Did you try running as admin ?
    eg this just worked for me
    nircmd.exe setdisplay 1280 800 32

    ( For anyone trying to change the colour bits, there is mention on some sites that some modern Graphics Units do not accept all resolutions at all bits. )
