    in windows 10 how to use skype?


    Sorry may be is a daft question. I have credit using skype to call mobiles and send SMS messages abroad in windows 8.1 now in windows 10 things looks very different I couldn’t figure out how to send SMS message using my credit through skype in windows 10.
    Anyone could explain please how to do it?

    Hi, if you don't like the Skype app, you could get the desktop version (traditional program you install):

    Apps use a new programming model and don't uses exe files, dlls, or the registry. Consider them almost separate from the traditional Windows, which still exists. No one is forcing you to use universal apps- you can still install all compatible desktop programs.

    I'm beginning to realise people coming to Win 10- perhaps without previous Windows experience- are beginning to rely solely on the Store and apps, and on Cortana (which is essentially at present mostly a front end for normal browser search and Windows search - a rather messy and incomplete mix in my opinion- cute when it works).

    Worrying that the vast library of programs may be being ignored by some.

    That's what happens when wast majority uses mobile devices and game consoles instead of proper PC. I wouldn't consider even most laptops as a "Proper PC", to me only desktops deserve that name.
