Basics about checking the Version. Hold down Windows key and press R, type winver and press Enter to get the Version and Build numbers. Should be something on the order of Version 1607 Build 14393.321 for the most current or maybe Version 1511 for the previous version. The Build number in this example is 14393 and the .321 appears to be the latest update to that.
Some more information - there are different update on HP and ASUS.

    Updates for ASUS Laptop.
This Laptop not used from 30/09/16 to 12/10/16 while on holidays.

Ask the federation about what they used to design those forms. Do they print okay in say Chrome with the embedded PDF on it, or in Foxit?
It was built with programs from Fytek and TwoPilots …..
And no Adobe products (other than a final save from Adobe Reader XI and later versions from DC )

Ok. May take a little time to get an answer from ABF.
Yes they print ok from Foxit but I don't know whether it is from Chrome - I just put Foxit on my Desktop.
You can choose default in Default programs. If you open it up in Chrome, it is Chrome's embedded PDF. From there when you print it, it is the printer driver that takes over, but Chrome is telling it the layout of the PDF on its end. If you right click and save to the Download folder, you can then open it up with the program of your choice. If you think that Adobe is the issue, reset it and also removing it and reinstalling works. The only bad side is now they want you to use their cloud version.

I want to print it to fit in a special plastic folder 20 cmx 12 cm. In Adobe I usually go Colour - 1 copy - " Poster " - 82% - Landscape - Print and then trim to exact size with scissors.

Is this what you mean by reduced pdf and printing ?

    Sorry but over my head.
I downloaded Chrome and it bought something with it my anti virus didn't like. So I got rid of it.
I have uninstalled Adobe and Reinstalled it several times.
The problem that I have when using Foxit it won't print the same as Adobe. In Adobe the code 2!H shows as 2with a picture of a Heart ( playing card ) but using Foxit it doesn't recognise this code.

Chrome does not install anything if you download it at google.com/chrome. Most times you get a false positive, because the a/v maker has not properly updated the signatures in the file that gets downloaded to computers.

Pretty simple stuff when it comes to going into Control Panel, then go to Default Programs to choose the default programs, same as going into System in Control Panel to change the settings for devices to not let Windows install any device driver.

Foxit and Adobe print from the settings in your software that would be installed if you did install it on your computer. If you did not install the printer utilities, then it is up to the software like Adobe, etc, to determine the settings to tell the printer how to print items. That would mean that every piece of software is going to print different ways.

On my PC I donot have Acrobat Reader DC, but I have Acrobat Pro. Acrobat Pro has the option File>save as reduced pdf.
From the description by Adobe I understood that this option is also available in the Reader, but possibly I misunderstood this.
