Windows 10: Recomended Clipboard Manager

    Recomended Clipboard Manager

Does anyone have experience with any apps for the above?

I used Costal Clips with XP but not upgraded since 2007.

Main se is to save multiple "copy" items and paste selectively as required.

I use Ditto an open source application from sourceforge - HERE
It keeps a list of clipboard saves and allows them to be pasted selectively.
The options are quite extensive so spend some time to configure it the way you need it.

    I hope this helps.

I want to try Ditto but wonder if I should get the regular 64 bit or the Portable 64 bit. I am not sure what the difference is in this case and yes I have other Portable software, but with the Ditto Portable will it startup when I boot Windows so that I will always have it ready?

I use the installed 64-bit version of Ditto and have it run at startup.

I expect that if you use the portable version AND install it on a drive that is always available at startup, it will work like the installed version.

The portable version on a USB thumb drive could not be relied on to be accessible at startup.

OK, I will use the Installed Version. I thought of the portable as sometimes the install version of some programs contain spyware, etc.

Well, we did try Ditto. Is there any way to expand the window as the clips are so small we can not read them? Is there an option we missed?

The window displayed after clicking on the Ditto icon in the system tray can be expanded like any other window.

Just position the cursor to the top or side and when it turns to the double arrow, just click and drag. I don't believe I enabled any special options to make this happen.

For 10 years i was using different clipboard managers. Now time has come and I've made my own clipboard manager - Clip Angel (freeware). It was inspired by AceText and ClipDiary (my favourites).
