I realize this is an old thread, but my post is directly related to it.
I'm wondering if there is a clipboard manager that has all of the following:
    1. You can bring it up with a customizable hotkey.
    2. You can copy an unlimited number of clips.
    3. Most importantly, when using Word or any program you can bring up the app, use Enter to paste the currently selected item, & then use Ctrl+Shift++PageUp or Ctrl+Shift+PageDwn to paste the the one above or below the currently selected item. [This allows you to copy successive items without switching apps.]
    4. You can save a clipboard item to paste with a customizable hotkey.

This may sound like a lot of wishful thinking, but in Windows XP, I had an app called Smartboard 2000 (made by Oakley Data Services, which is now defunct). Unfortunately, this app only works occasionally in Windows 10. I would love a replacement that does all of the above.

The Office Clipboard got larger back a couple or three versions, first about a dozen then later a couple of dozen, it was/is different from the Windows Clipboard. The Win10 Clipboard can hold about as many but I haven't had need for more than 5 or 6 yet. Pressing the Windows Key + the V key will bring it up and show what is in it. Play with it.

Thanks for your quick reply. The windows clipboard doesn't cut it for me. You can't search for words in the various clips (I apologize for leaving that out of my post), & there's no shortcut key to paste successive items (you have to keep pressing Win+V to bring it back up & then click on the item to paste it.
    I appreciate your reply!

We still use Clipboard Master and I believe it will do all that you want! It is free and he updates it still. Very customizable...in fact so much that you can read the many options!

I downloaded & installed Clipboard Master. I wanted to thank you again because it seems to fulfill everything I wanted. There's much to learn about it. I have one question. I can't seem to find a way to paste successive items by using a hotkey...i.e. use a hotkey to paste {first item}, then {second item}, etc. & to paste in reverse order, just by using a hotkey.
Do you know if that function exists?
    Thanks again!

Thank you. I read this, but I couldn't find a hotkey combination. I've also emailed their support team & will let you know what they say.

Thank you again for this information. I emailed the developer asking about hotkeys for paste next & paste previous. He developed a later version of Clipboard Master that will do that! The first beta had a problem & he fixed it. Here are the links to the new version & a link to the fix.

    The first file is this.
    Download and install this file:
    https://www.jumpingbytes.com/down/Cl...rInst486_2.exe
Then copy the attached file to your desktop and double click it.
It will add 2 hotkeys to paste the next / previous item.
    You can define other hotkeys.

    The fix is this.
    Exit Clipboard Master
    Download this file
    https://www.jumpingbytes.com/down/Cl...er486b8209.zip
and extract it to the Clipboard Master program folder.
    This will replace ClipboardMaster.exe & ClipboardMasterSettings.exe

He uses Alt+. & Alt+, for paste next & paste previous. I really appreciate how conscientious the developer, Christoph Guentner, is.
