Thanks for the heads up. I could give it a shot if it comes in portable fashion.

PS - Yes, there is a portable version under Downloads. Yay!

    Hi there

I'm sure REVO is an OK product -- but IMO it's far better to take a backup BEFORE installing anything - then if you don't like it etc - simply restore.

The speed with which things like Macrium can do backups / restores especially on SSD's IMO make this a far better option than using programs that do goodness knows what with the registry --plus of course you also get a backup which you should have anyway.

Just my view - but I really don't like installers / in-installers / reg cleaners etc.

    YMMV of course though

    Cheers

I do both but Revo never failed me. I do a lot of program installations and can find some faults only after months of their use, what you suggest is not practical in cases like this. Some programs I uninstall after years of use and going back so far is out of question, can you imagine mess it would make ?

    Thanks for the info!
Only purchased the pro version a couple of weeks ago.
Glad they are keeping it up to date!

    +1

You get the full power of Revo IF you use it to install a program. Then it tracks every file, every registry entry, etc., so it becomes a snap to do an uninstall. Liike CountMike, Revo has never failed me.

    Well worth the money.
