Scan and FAX multi Pages to PDF?

I can Scan from my Brother MFC-8840D using the Scan on the Start Menu or the Scan and FAX. I even have the option to save it as a PDF and this all works. However it wants to save each page. Is there any way to configure it to scan several pages from the FlatBed and not the ADF and have 1 PDF?
If not, has anyone used the FREE NAPS2 program?

My HP Scan function has an Advanced Setting for 1 file per page.

I usually work with Irfanview, invoking my scanner from it. It only works with multipage TIFF though, but converting it into PDF is as easy as selecting "save as" (PDF), from Irfanview's main menu.

Thank you both. My 8840D is connected via USB and Brother never updated its SCAN function for Win 10. However, Win 10 has built in drivers for it so it works.

I see Infanview is freeware. If I get 64 bit, is there a 64 bit plugin for PDF? I looks like just the program will not save to PDF without a plugin, but not sure what it is called?
