Please help when i open the files txd, it go to utorrent
I was searching for a problem and i found some like mine, looking at some old posts.
So,i was modding a game and i opened a file with notepad(a few minutes i was trying to resolve)but i give up and open with utorrent(i was very angry)
Later i watched a tutorial.
I go to regedit.... to txd file, delete from OpenListWith(all, except default)and remove folder UserChoice.
Please help when i open the files txd,he go me to utorrent.
Thanks and sorry if i wrong some words.English is not my native language
Files that with the .txd file extension are usually game texture dictionaries. Using regedit to change file associations is dangerous. Safer to use Settings - System - Default apps where at the bottom you'll find 'Choose default application by file type'. I think you want to set it to open with your game.
No man,i want to change the txd file to be normal.
Exemple:when i press on txd,i want to apear that error(i don”t know how to name it)which i can”t open it with a progam, not to click on it and get me to utorrent.(i have the utorrent icon on txd file.
I don't have any txd files but I've just made a .txd file on my desktop and set it to open with Notepad.
To make windows forget how to open txd files I used regedit and deleted the key:
