Windows 10: Fresh OS install – Live tiles appear as arrows – Help
Fresh OS install – Live tiles appear as arrows – Help
I have just done a fresh install of Windows 10 (64-bit) withlatest image from Microsoft directly and updated completely, but many LiveTiles in start menu are appearing as just a “download arrow”.
I have tried everything from resizing it, activating/deactivatinglive tiles and even click them. No matter which tiles I click it only opens “windows getstarted”. I am also signed-in on my MSaccount and gone to store and all apps are updated.
What can be the issue ??
Does the apps/programs work? Is it possible they are still downloading? If they are MS apps you can check in the Store app.
Everything work, except the ones that are appearing with an arrow, its not possible they are still downloading for sure. In store, everything appears to be updated.
I had this and just unpinned them. Perhaps they are withdrawn apps (like the cookery one and the health & fitness one and so on).
Anything that is missing (that you want) you can download later from the store anyway.
Well I just re-installed the OS and they were all there...

This is on an old eMachines M6805 laptop that originally came with XP 32-bit. I put a fresh install of Windows 7 32-bit on it which ran fine. I then upgraded that to Windows 10 32-bit. The first time it booted up I was able to log in but got a...
