    How to re-enable Cortana after disabling with .bak method?


    I'm on the Windows 10 Anniversary Update version and a while back I disabled Cortana completely with this method:

    Now I want to re-enable it again, how would I go about that? I checked the SystemApps folder where it apparently created another folder for Cortana and now I have two identical folders that I don't know what to do about.

    Run SFC scan and delete bak. Restoring it from bak would restore some old version files, which would cause problems.
