The timer is the only thing I use Windows Snipping Tool for. Like your Ksnapshot, they added that feature (up to 5 sec) so you can capture r-clicks or whatever. I know of nothing else. Maybe someone else can chime in. There are just so many screen cap progs out there.

OMG; what a GREAT Tip ! I just tested 'prt sc' with Lightshot and it does the same thing. Just like it more because the editing tools don't need a dedicated window to work with. Thanks so much, Edwin !

This is a community. You might already gotten your answer and found a tool that suits you but this thread will also be opened and read by other members and guests alike interested in the topic in question.
This thread will stay alive and most certainly get new suggestions, whether you follow it or not.
Another very good screen capture program is Screenpresso, there is a Free version too.
