    Cortana weather location issue

A very minor issue but starting about 4 or 5 days ago I noticed when I click on Cortana and it brings up the useful info .ie. news headlines, weather that the weather location at the top has changed from showing as 'Havering' my UK borough to a generic post code RM3 9. RM3 is still my location but I just thought it strange it has lost its ability to display Havering or Romford. It's not PC specific as we looked at our other family PC and this is doing the same. Just wondered if others are noticing the same. Not a major thing at all, more of an aesthetic thing if anything. I suppose one could argue it is being even more pinpoint / accurate by narrowing down the post code as much it has.

Hi, Cortana (not that I really use it) has kept asking for my address... note if you use Wifi your location can be tracked quite accurately- within a few houses. Ethernet- to your server.

Just wondering, have you set your Default Location yourself or do you let Windows detect it automatically?

It's automatic detection. I suppose if anything it's narrowed right down to the postcode so even more accurate but just seemed strange that prior it was showing an area .ie. Havering or Romford

AU might have changed something, you can set Default Location in Weather and Privacy and that should take care of it.
