Windows 10: Inconsistent notifications with the Xbox app
Inconsistent notifications with the Xbox app
I upgraded to Windows 10 when it launched, then did a clean install. Notifications have never worked properly for me and I can't figure out why, other than it being an issue with the OS itself that is still not fixed. I've tried 2 further clean installs, but this has not fixed the issue.
The only modern app I use is the Xbox app. I have it set to deliver certain notifications and all of the settings in Windows itself are correct, plus the app is allowed to run in the background. However, sometimes I get notifications and sometimes I don't. I'd say about 40% of the time I don't, so often I launch the app and find I have new messages from friends, or new comments/likes on my activity feed, but I did not receive any notifications about this.
Anyone got any idea what the issue might be? Anyone else having the same problem with the Xbox app, or notifications in general?
