Windows 10: Snipping Tool
On my Windows 7 machine I was able to click the Snipping Tool from the tool bar and it would open automatically in rectangular snip mode. Now, with Windows 10 I have to click the Snipping Tool from the tool bar, snipping tool window opens, then I have to click on New and then finally select Rectangular snip. Is there a way to bypass the snipping tool window and go directly to rectangular snip mode like it used to do in Windows 7? Thanks in advance for any assistance you can give me.
On all of my Windows 10 systems, when I run the snipping tool, all I have to click is "New" and I'm ready to capture. Sounds like you are clicking on the down arrow next the New button instead of on the new button itself.
I have an old shortcut to the Snipping Tool and just clicked on it after upgrade. It launches but doesn't seem to be able to save anything any longer. Anyone knows anything about this?
