    Since posting, I've been browsing this forum and elsewhere and found Picpick.

    But thanks for your recommendation.

    Not had time to decide which is best for me.

    Of course if you just want screenshots ( and not motion video), most if not all of the requirements can be met Using Windows without any 3rd party applications

    Snipping Tool, or print screen key
    Paint or even 3D Paint
    WordPad

    And if saved as PNG or JPG images Windows Explorer allows the addition of Tags - check out the details tab in the properties of any image file

    Yes. I have been using it for a very long time and have had no problems or any AV pick anything up from it.

    ScreenPresso probably save your capture in a cloud, outside of your computer. This is probably the reason why you need the WiFi available when in use

    Screenpresso example. I just took a shot of Steve's post, showing the Screenpresso work area pop-up after you take the screen shot. By default, it saves to "user\pictures\screenpresso". That can be changed. Then you can edit, draw on it, add bubble comments, arrow, boxes, clip, etc. right from the pop-up work area.
