Dunno if MS are changing their mind but anyway - SMACC will still be in the store a while longer

Here’s what you need to know:
    ________________________________________
    Hello Superfly Inc.,

    Greetings from Microsoft Store!

First, thank you for having your app S.M.A.C.C in the Microsoft Store.

Previously we told you that your app S.M.A.C.C does not have a valid code signing certificate and that the app must be digitally signed before Oct 31, 2022 or it risked being removed from the Store. However, we are pleased to announce that Microsoft Store has now extended the date until June 30, 2023.

In the past all Microsoft Store apps (native UWPs for example) were hosted and signed by the Microsoft Store and received a Microsoft signature. With the change to enable win32 apps to be listed in the Microsoft Store, on June 16, 2022, we announced an update to Store Policy 10.2.9 requiring win32 apps to be digitally signed.

Apps must now comply with this policy before June 30,2023 using a code signing certificate that chains up to a certificate issued by a Certificate Authority (CA) that is part of the Microsoft Trusted Root Program. This policy helps ensure the trust and security of all apps downloaded from the Microsoft Store.

    For more information, contact reportapp@microsoft.com.

    Thanks,
    Microsoft Store

These settings are being deprecated in Windows as they move to UWP.. so unable to help with the menu

External colours allows you click on a colour outside the app and import it into the app. colour bar.
Just an FYI .. prob. useless info but hey... humour me ok?

MS uses Advapi32.dll for win32 apps and API-MS-WIN-CORE-REGISTRY-L1-1-0.DLL for UWP.. the latter I have no idea about as yet .

The Win32 api is blocked on UWP apps (some security feature) yet there is an offline registry dll that MS ships (as standard in Windows - was meant for OEM's) which does exactly the same.. so Whaaa!

Anyway the former is not used as per my previous reply so I can't update SMACC until I get to grips with how the UWP in windows personalisation works.
