Visual Studio 2015 Stuttering

Visual Studio 2015 Stuttering
Visual Studio 2015 stutters on my computer in the sense that everything freezes up for like 2-3 secs before returning to normal. (Even the blinking typing thing freezes in a solid line)
The only other software which I encounter this is ezvid video editor.
I'm guessing it's something on the software/system side, given how my hardware is relatively lag-proof. My games also don't suffer from this stuttering issue, so it can't be the generic 'game stuttering' fix going around the net.
Any suggestions are appreciated.

Are you on Update 2?
VS, as you know is huge on RAM, make sure that is OK... got no probs on a laptop I use for roaming with a C2D with 6GB DDR3 (I'm running professional rather than community, if that makes a difference).
Edit: I do, however, have an SSD in there - so that prob. does help as well.)

I have 24GB of RAM. I'm using the community one inside DreamSpark.

Hmmm , OK... updated my post as you posted - are you on HDD?
Only used community once or twice - and recall having issues with it - can't recall exactly.

Using a 950 Pro 512GB. A little weird thing I noticed - any RGB lighting pattern on my keyboard will also suddenly freeze in frame and unfreeze in-sync with VisualStudio.

Strange.. must be driver related... not sure why VS will complain - however it's a 32-bit app - so it cannnot utilize all the memory it needs and may grab some from integrated CPU graphics ... I'm not a hardware guru - just guessing.

No worries. I'm puzzled about this myself. I'm running my laptop in pure discrete mode on a 980m. My puny tablet on a core M can run it fine without stuttering... -.-. The stutter makes it impossible to do any decent coding.

Cool... interesting tho'.
