The thrill or the fun of trying out a new system is to "poke" around here and there and see what it will do.
So, instead of "taking you there", I'll just give you a hint and you can "find your way there" yourself.

Hint : use the search bar.

That is your UAC. User Account Control.
Moving the slider up or down to change setting.

    "Don't notify" = turn off.

Have you switched off the UAC (User Account Control)? this has always caused issues with Store apps in Windows 8 & 8.1 and UWP apps in Win10
I have now switched off the UAC, and then tried launching store or other metro apps Didn't work, tried methods on this thread. Also didn't worked.

Try Control Panel>Security and Maintenance>Reliability History.
or Control Panel>Type on search box "Reliability History".

I have the same problem as yours and I noticed on my Reliability History that Windows has automatically updated my Metro Apps and is not working anymore.

I'm thinking that at this stage you might be best to do an in-place repair installation following the tutorial below. It usually fixes this type of problem. Follow the instructions exactly:

I did a repair install. Problem still persist. Good thing I have a system image though. Still don't know how to fix that. In the meantime I turned off the auto-update in Windows Store.
