at this point it seems hopeless are there any other ways of reinstall or repairing windows without a dvd or flash drive or with something as small as a 2gb flash drive?
    My knowledge is limited.
Please be patient and wait a bit for someone to come along.
I'll try to recruit someone with much much superior knowledge to help you.

Verify the integrity of the ISO using an online hash checker ? If mounting and running setup as Admin fails it's possible the ISO is corrupted.

An error 7b is in many cases a Hard Drive error.

Sorry to hear about your problem 1st off. You just might have to buy a flash drive to try and repair this laptop. They don't cost that much. Maybe like a 16GB or even a 8GB flash drive. (USB stick) Also you might have to do a Clean Install of your Windows 10 Home Edition. But ....we can try some things 1st I suppose.

1st turn off your 3rd party anti virus program .....we might even have to remove it ......I understand that you already have your Windows 10 mounted?? Is this correct??

Hi Steve, so its possible Hard Drive problems?? I was wondering about that....Sounds like the OP needs to boot from a usb drive and run some checks on his laptop....using Kyhi's Rescue disk ....for starters.
This is the link for the rescue disk. You will need to down load this file, and copy all these files to a 8GB Flash drive and boot from this usb disk. Then we can check your laptops Hard Drive ....

It's worth a try, Mike. Or he could try a quick check with Crystal Disk Info just for a check of the smart values. I believe that Avast has given some problems with Windows 10 also. I would try Crystal Disk first, then you can help him with Kyhi's Rescue disk to run some tests.

Mike, I believe a 2 GB flash drive will run Khyi's rescue disk, but if he has to buy one I would go with an 8 GB in case he needs to use it to reinstall Windows.
