Korea Media Player Center and Korea Messenger Center
During my recent upgrade of Windows 10 from one build to another, the above two programs landed on my desktop. I am, as can be seen, in the UK, and I very much regret that I do not understand and cannot read Korean, so how can I get rid of them?
I do not seem to be able to delete them using my uninstaller or Windows uninstaller - they are not listed in either. Neither are the listed in the turn Windows features on or off.
Any suggestions?

Did you install language packs?

Did you install language packs?
No. Just a normal upgrade. I have never installed a language pack as English suffices for my needs.

Check your windows update history and see if anything shows there

Same thing happened to me and I have NOT installed any language packs -- and, I'm in the US.
-
Are you able to right click where they show on the desktop and select remove or delete?
-
Where they show on my desktop I can right click and remove them, but they remain in my program list when I click on the windows button, and I cannot remove them from that list.
My update history is of no use, since it was cleared of all entries during the update and only has an entry for an update to Windows Defender.
However, before the update, I had several entries dealing with two failed installations. One for Intel Corporation driver update for Intel HD Graphics 4600 and the other for Realtek Semiconductor Corps driver update for Realtek High Definition, and sure enough, in my Device Manager there are two drivers with yellow exclamation marks against them under Other Devices, PCI Simple Communication Controller and SM Bus Controller. The correction of those two entries is the subject of another thread I have started.
My computer hangs from time to time and I wonder whether those two failed driver updates are the cause of the hanging.
During the update from Build 10041 to Build 10049 (10041 was installed via an ISO CD) the computer stopped altogether for several hours, so finally I had to hold the on/off button for a long time to turn it off. Then when I restarted I was into build 10049.

PCI Simple Communication Controller is for dialup fax-modem and SM Bus you most probably have nothing connected to. You can safely disable them.

I didn't. I wonder, is it any good?
