    there was a problem sending the command to the program


    Getting this problem using Autocad 2002, would anyone have any idea what is causing it. Thanks.

    In my opinion (and others may disagree) there are two common problems with older programs. The first is a bad installation. A hiccup or glitch occurred during the install and the program isn't working correctly. The solution would be to reinstall. The second reason older programs don't work is they are not compatible with Windows 10. If that's the case here you could try running it in Compatibility Mode. This tutorial shows how and also includes a link to the Compatibility Center for Windows 10 to see if this program is listed.

    Great advice.
    Just one point............. there is no more compatibility center. MS has taken if off. The link in the tutorial won't lead to Compatibility Center.
