Strange. I use Sticky Notes quite a lot, never had that issue. Just tested using three different fonts and sizes, after a restart everything was as it should be:

How do you change the fonts and size?

OK, that might not keep the size. As I have OneNote most of the times open, I write my Sticky Notes with it to get the font and the size I prefer. You can use any size, any font, then simply copy your text and paste in Sticky Note. That way it keeps all formatting.

You can use the Windows native WordPad for that, too:

    Tip   Tip
In addition, although you can't change the default size of Segoe Print font used by Sticky Notes you can change the font itself using Registry Editor.

Open the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Fonts, find Segoe Print and Segoe Print Bold fonts. Double click them, one by one, change the font file name (.ttf file) to any other font .ttf file.

For instance if you would like to use Rockwell font as default Sticky Notes font, change segoepr.ttf to rock.ttf, and segoeprb.ttf to rockb.ttf

    Kari,

I've just installed the AU and it has changed the font style and size on sticky notes, making them much larger than before. I tried your suggestion of writing in Wordpad and copy/pasting but this doesn't seem to work.

Are you still able to change the font style/size after AU and if so, how do you do it please.

No, this has not been possible since the new Sticky Notes app a few builds ago. My advice was and is valid for Sticky Notes in Windows 10 version 1511.

That's another Windows app I'll be uninstalling then . Shame, I quite liked it. Will have to look for an alternative in the Store.

Use the feedback app to report this to MS.
