Movies & TV and GROOVE will not find files on network

When I first installed Windows 10, the Movie app would find my files on my windows server without any issues. Then I did an updated and they went away. Another update and they came back. The same thing happens with Groove too.

Has anyone else experienced this? If so, have you found a solution to make it read the files from the network location? Let me know if you find one...and I will do the same. Thanks.

Just to check , Have you manually added the networked location as a source in groove and the movies app?.

Yes I have. The network location still shows up as the preferred location but it doesn't find anything. I have deleted it and re-added it all to no avail.
