I need help to uninstall bit torrent from the app menu.
When I click the uninstall button, nothing happens and the app icon is still there.
There does not seem to have been a folder in the program files called bittorrent I can uninstall either.

Is this a desktop program?
If you don't know where it is, rt click the shortcut in the start menu, More, Open File Location.
Then install Revo uninstaller, and use that.
Also try:
Press Windows key + X, click Control Panel, Click Programs and Features, and see if it is in that list. If so, right click and Uninstall.
Have you looked for it at the traditional place......... Programs and Features ?

More advice needed !.. I have downloaded Revo Uninstaller and ran the program.
BUT BitTorrent doesn't appear on the listed programs on the Home screen.
However, in Uninstall on Control Panel it is listed.. when I attempt to uninstall, all I get is a box with ' please wait until the current program has finished uninstalling or BEING changed '..!
I guess, as usual, I have missed something !... any advice please ?

Further info.. I tried to remove this annoyances via Settings-apps and Features..
Right clicked on BitTorrent... selected Uninstall.. got a box with
'Windows cannot find '/BitTorrent.exe'
Don't know if this data is of consequence, and I remain in a quandary !.

In Control Panel / Program and Features , when attempting to uninstall the program..the box contains the ' You do not have sufficient access to uninstall BitTorrent. Please contact your system administrator '
