Windows 10: I got w10 and my installed programs are not appearing in metro tiles

    When these MS guys are so wise that they removed keyboard shortcut customization from excel in office 2010, and never restored such a useful and convenient function in 2013 and 2016, no point telling them anything.
    The wonder part is - keyboard shortcut customization is still there in word 2010-13-16.

    If it was bad it should have been removed from all, if it was not so bad, it could have been retained in all. Why remove at one place and retain at other place?

    I tend to agree with you.
    But we will have to make do with what MS has given.

Some (3, out of maybe 20) of my installed Programs, all working perfectly well, are not listed in Control Panel -> Programs and Features. Any ideas on how to rectify this, please? Thank you.
In add/remove programs I noticed 3 different times this happened, like 8 random programs install date will jump to the current date even though they had been installed for weeks already. It's not really causing any issues, just curious whats...
Newly installed apps. ot appearing in program menu unable to pin apps to start menu. This happened to me previously and I could find no solution....I eventually created a new admin profile, where newly installed apps appeared in the program menu...
Got a perfect upgrade from Win7 Pro to Win10 Pro for any programs that were on the boot disk. However any programs that were loaded on a second (non-bootable) disk were not recognized at all. Is there any way, other than reloading all those...
I can't find new apps I install, is there somewhere special I am supposed to look. I even have problems finding some Legacy programs.
