32-bit or 64-bit? Which version do I install [or do I install BOTH]?

< Feeling like I should know the answer to this, but admittedly, I don't... >

When interested in downloading and installing new apps or programs on my [Windows 10, 64-bit OS/x64-based proc] laptop, and company/mfr offers links to download in both 64-bit and 32-bit, which version do I choose? Or is it best to just download both?

THANKS, in advance, for any guidance!

If yours is a Win 10 x64 then download and install the x64 app or software and no need to download and install both but if there's no x64 available you can use the x32

Judging by the 'system specs' that you have posted, you'll want the 64 bit versions of software.

(Also... in those same system specs you'll want to change the amount of RAM you have to 8 GBs.
8 MBs seems awfully low in this day and age! He he!)

In some cases you can choose, in others you must use the one appropriate for your OS 'bitness' (32 or 64 bits).

But for example Firefox was recently launched in a 64 bit version as well as the 32 bit version, but presently some have found (as I did) it's a bit early to rely on the 64 bit version.
