Third party Internet Security software would be the best guess.

Did you check Intuit's forums to see if others are having thr same issue with Windows 10?

I'm using Turbo Tax web version with the Edge browser. Works fine.

That is not what the OP is talking about. They want to physically install the software on their computer. Only problem is that Intuit has issues every time that Microsoft updates to a new Windows version, along with the tax software not fully complete.

This year I used the iOS app for Turbo Tax, which made things a whole lot easier then sitting on the couch with the laptop, trying to thumb through a bunch of paperwork. I cannot file my state taxes until March, because of the Budget problems here in Illinois.

I am not in a hurry to file them until closer to the deadline. It is just money that is going to end up being spent on finishing our Kitchen, which has sat halfway done for at least 4 years. Gives the wife more time to figure out counter's and paint colors. Last time when I did the Bath. It took her 2 months to find the right paint color, along with a month to find the right tile color.
