    Flashplayer problem

My daughters PC will no longer play the CBBC iplayer, it stopped today but I am unsure what has changed. She gets a message "You need to install Flash Player to play this content".

I have checked IE11 settings and they seem identical to those on my own PC which works fine.

    Specifically
ActiveX filtering is not enabled for the site - same as my PC.
"Manage add ons" in internet explorer shows Shockwave Flash Object version 20.0.0.272 enabled - same as my PC.

If she clicks on the download link, which is under the Flashplayer message, on the CBBC site it takes her to the Adobe site which shows a test page which is playing correctly.

I am scratching my head - any help appreciated

After more digging it turns out MacAfee "Vulnerability scanner" found a software update required earlier this evening and installed over flashplayer. There was a system restore point just before that so I have reset to that point and all is well.

Now just need to find out how to turn off that element of MacAfee ..........

In Mcafee, just change the settings in the vulnerability scanner to "don't set a scan schedule", which will disable automatic scanning
