Thanks for the help and suggestions. I have installed MS Offcie 2003 from a disc I found a box in the closet. Just hard to teach an old dog new tricks. Windows 10 is here to stay but I can't understand what all the cheering is about. Windows 7 was fine but then again all I do is surf the net and email. 10 seems unnecessarily complicated to me.

What you are calling unnecessarily complicated is just change. If you've never used Windows 8/8.1, you will see this as a bigger change. You can't stay the same or push out products that look and feel the same if you want to stay relevant in the tech world. That's one reason so many of us chose the tech field as our career.

You are probably right. I tend to be old fashion, conservative. I don't need all the "gee whiz' stuff 10 offers. I didn't need all the features of Windows 7 but at least I knew the program and where all my stuff was located. I'm certainly not the only one who has a limited need for a computer. Yet I must upgrade to 10. Like being forced to buy a Cadillac when all I need is a civic. Well, it is what it is. No sense complaining now. Get over it or die with it as they say.

You aren't being forced to buy something well above what you need, though. Aside from the fact Windows 10 is free, it's isn't a big step up or down. It's just different. For some, like me, it is better, because it represents what 8 and 8.1 should have been. It has an interface that works very well for touch and non-touch devices alike.
