    Windows Media Center

Has any one tried installing WMC on build 9926 yet? It wouldn't work on older builds.

It did work on older builds. You could have googled "tenforums wmc" for example and found this: Windows Media Center

There were problems - you could have googled "tenforums wmc problem" and found this : https://www.tenforums.com/general-dis...0-install.html

Or you could just try it and see.

That method does not work anymore and it would have disabled future updates plus WMC did not really work. At this point it des not work at all. I really hope they keep it in Win 10.

I did not try it on 9926 but I did on a previous build. It installs, creates a tile and sets a folder called 'eHome' in the Windows folder but the program will not run.
You have to use your WMC key to get it but then it changes your Windows version to 'Window 8.1 Pro With Media Center' and you will forfeit future updates for Build 9926.

The key will not work in 9926. They disabled that a long time ago.

Does this mean we won't be able to get the Media Center in Windows 10 for us with 8.1 Pro with Media Center?
