Window pop's up on every restart.....

This window trying to install HP Support Assistant pops up every time I restart my laptop, but, only since I have upgraded to Windows 10.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the HP Support Assistant and I can pull it up, and it is running right now. I've tried MSCONFIG, and CCLEANER and cannot find any "run on startup" that might be doing this.

I'd love to be able to solve this.

Download GeekUninstaller and check for HP support assistant entry. Right click and FORCE UNINSTALLATION.

Go to HP webpage and download it again if you want to keep it. Reinstall it.

Best eliminate it and start again. You could use Revo uninstaller.. with that, if nothing is listed in 'Programs and Features' but you've still an exe somewhere related to the program, you can browse to that from Revo, run Revo and see what it finds. You can then choose what is to be removed.

    Perfect!

I think I will do without it.

Windows 10 copied it along with Windows 7....so, I doubt I need it.

My warranty is long expired, and that is one thing it mostly kept track of.

    Thanks!
