    FYI....full disk encryption using TrueCrypt 7.1a (the last "safe" version) on W8 (and presumably W10) has always been fraught with difficulty, and never officially supported. I have seen it done once over at sevenforums.com.....I'll see if I can locate the thread and post it here.I was mistaken.....it was a problem with a EFI-based Windows 7 system.
