Speccy Update Fixes Windows 10 Issues, Will No Longer Be Removed During November Update Install

Version 1.29.714 comes to address compatibility issues

Speccy is one of the apps that got impacted by compatibility issues when users performed the upgrade from Windows 10 build 10240 (the July RTM version) to the November Update released last month.

But thanks to an update released today, Speccy should now work smoothly on Windows 10 November Update too, so the app will no longer be removed when installing the new update if you are already running the new version.

Speccy 1.29.714 comes with improved support for the latest Intel Skylake and Broadwell processors, but also improves Windows 10 compatibility, so if you’re among those who previously used the app but lost it when installing Threshold 2, this is the version you need.
