    Ccleaner removed by updates


    On three occasions I have re-installed Ccleaner after it was removed for some reason after an update, has anyone
    else experienced this?

    Correct, happened once so far after major November update, changing Windows 10 to version 1511. It appears this is intended behavior and experienced by many others web-wide. Note, has not happened again with further updates after 1511.

    I have not had a problem with CCleaner being removed at all. However I use the free version and have all the automatic features turned off.

    I run the paid for version and Ccleaner did not uninstall at all during updates or upgrades.

    Using Ccleaner , free version.
    Never once it got uninstalled by any Windows 10 installation.
    There is another thread of the same subject posted a bit earlier. The replies indicate it affects only a small % of users.

I saw where a new version of C Cleaner has been released. My C Cleaner (free version) is set to automatically check for updates. Will I be updated to the current version, or do I need to download the new version?
