I am man enough to admit mistake.

Can you download office 365 from their Microsoft page you can install that as a trial.
Once you have managed to get it working then you should be able to update and install office 2016
I have both and find them to work ok and work well with your printer

    Found this link

There is no reason Office 2013 won't work with Win 10. I have Office 2003 installed on a netbook I upgraded to Win 10 and it works without issue. I also have installed Office 2010, 2013 and Office 2016 on various Win 10 VMs and every version of Office I have tried has worked fine.

Is Word the only Office program that cannot save except to your OneDrive folder? Can you create and save Office files from Excel and PowerPoint?

    +1
Absolutely no reason why Office 2013 won't work in Win 10.
There must be thousands, if not hundreds of thousands, Office 2013 users who also use Win 10.
I don't see any uproar about Office 2013 not working in Win 10.

Adding : since the OP said Office 2016 trial version also " does NOT solve the problem. Exactly the same symptoms in Word 2016 as Word 2013", that seems to indicate the problem is the computer, not the MS Office program.

It may be my computer. I am in diagnostic mode. Here's someone else who experienced the problem: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/o...9-84f2decd1c9e

For clarification, I can't save files in Word, PowerPoint or Excel.

To find out if it is your computer try and download and run open office it is free
See if everything works with that if it does then we can rule out your computer

2 Microsoft Office programs is not enough.
Need a non-Microsoft product to prove it.
    Laughable.

Yes but that way we will find out if it is computer related or Office related.
At least it will narrow it down a bit laughable but in case at least we will know which direction to go.
He has tried I believe everything else
Also on another windows forum another make of office app is named

That is unless you have a better way.

    Let's say Open Office works.
Then what? Tell the OP to ditch Office 2013 and use Open Office ?
Or, do you have another Microsoft Office program for the OP to BUY ?

All the while, you, and including myself, are NOT helping the OP to fix Office 2013.
Just step aside, myself included, and let Strolling to input his knowledge which will be actually beneficial to the OP.
