Transferring files between two windows 10 installations

So, i have a new HDD with Win 10 installed. What i'm wonderering is: Can i transfer files between my old HDD with win 10 (home) and my new HDD with win 10 (pro). I know that tranferring files between win 7 and 8 creates problems. But is that the case here too?

You can do this kind of stuff using Zinstall.

Here is their tutorial for transferring programs and files to a new computer, which worked fine for me in the past.
Though if I'm not mistaken, you'll need to use their Pro product if you are transferring directly from a drive (as opposed to a "live" computer).

I'd ask them for guidance, they were pretty responsive for me (as they should be for their prices...).

Microsoft-supplied program called Windows Easy Transfer. It was capable of files from one Windows PC to another. The program was still available in Windows 8.1 , but Windows 10, unfortunately. MS want users synching through the OneDrive. If you want to transfer HDD to a new HDD , you can try a transfer tool called EaseUS Todo PCTrans. The tool offers a free version, but is limited to only transferring up to 2 applications. The free version is enough for you.
