    @Camellia ...... These three. I'm not sure the Slim even has them, don't use it. But, if so, same three.

    I only use the Slim Build. Uncheck this:

    Latest CCleaner Version Released-ccleaner-privacy.jpg
    Use "file list" and "save settings to .INI file"

    Latest CCleaner Version Released-ccleaner-settings.jpg
    You have to disable automatic updates to avoid getting the regular build installed via an auto update check.
    Latest CCleaner Version Released-ccleaner-updates.jpg
    Block connection in firewall
    Latest CCleaner Version Released-ccupdate.jpg

    Latest CCleaner Version Released-firewall.jpg
    Optional delete the updater
    Latest CCleaner Version Released-ccleaner-updater.jpg

    Just manually check for new builds.

    Hi folks

    My view on these types of products are that they are slightly better than "snake oil".

    These days if you take decent backups before doing anything with a computer like installing software that doesn't have proper uninstall details then you won't need any of these things -- a macrium (free) restore for example on an average machine from say an external SSD shouldn't take more than around 15 mins anyway.

    If your machine is in such a state that you need to use these types of products you probably would be better off doing a complete fresh windows re-install.

    Jimbo, you are welcome to your opinion, but I do not think it is shared by all. This thread has been active for 4 1/2 years, so the product has value to many.
