That is what they want you to do, pay for it. I am going back to the last one before Avast Ruined it.

I understand that you have the Pro version of Ccleaner.
I'm interested in obtaining a Ccleaner licence and was wondering,
what type of licence is offered with this version?
Mainly what I would like to know
    is,
if the licence is paid for annually,
    is it a life-time licence,
or is it different form any of these?

I just removed it totally. I had the portable version but after seeing this, good bye forever to the hijack installer for Avast, er... I mean CCleaner. Enough is enough. Good riddance.

I have unchecky and know how to stop that install but this is the last straw. Now to checking Autoruns and stuff for leftovers.

Never had a problem with CCleaner trying to install Avast. It got me wondering why, and the only explanation is that my AV is ESET NOD32 and if that ever detects a possible installation of another AV it kicks it in the nuts fast. If I ever want to use another AV I have to download the in depth uninstaller from ESET and run it before I stand any chance of changing AV.

I use this portable version and there isn't a Privacy Option available.

No on this one Avast was not offered at all so hopefully they have realised not everyone wants it.
I have windows defender and quite happy with that.
