Can't remember who told me about Wise cleaner, could have been Josey, but I've been using it every once in a while too. :)

Just tried out Wise Disk Cleaner (portable version). Been meaning to check it out for a while, the recent posts here made me do that. I quite like it as well.

    Got me back 1.1 gig.
Even after I thought I kept my system clean with my own methods and with using CCleaner.
That was just with the Common Cleaner scan option after making some tweaks to the selected scan settings.

The Slimming System scan would save me another 965 meg if I removed the Windows Downloaded Installation files.

I also use Patch Cleaner in addition to Wise Disk Cleaner. CCleaner is useful for managing / deleting system restore points.

Patch cleaner is good, but make sure you save the "deletions" to another disk rather than permanent deletion, I ran across a problem with updating Silverlight because of that. Fortunately I was able to copy back the offending installer.
