    Just my opinion, but I think that an Antivirus should not be a free add on option to any installer, the fact that this could be set auto selected is a disgrace, but even the option to check an option to install an antivirus is not sensible as an un-informed or accidental choice can have disastrous consequences. Who can tell what will happen if the user has another AV installed and that set-up turns out to be incompatible with avast and that leads to a loss of valuable data - Is Avast prepared to meet the users costs for recovery.

    An AV system is such an important and deeply integrated piece of software that it has to be a conscious choice of the User - Windows ships with reasonable options for system protection, so there is no justification for force feeding the user for this , by all means use Ccleaner as an optional add on with an Avast install, or even integrate the functionality into the avast package

    Ccleaner is an optional item that most users will install after the system security is selected and set so should not provide any chance for accidental damage due to unplanned installation
    It's probably because Windows now has a pretty good built in AV that they need to push their own.

    One more note on CCleaner, if you actually Bought CCleaner, there is NEVER any other program added (Antivirus) It will update itself if allowed too.

    @DooGie

    Yep I noticed the same here Josey.
    Now even their big Download button downloads strait from them and not Filehippo or where ever it used to be.#
    Also no programs riding piggyback either(unless it's just not show because I already have Chrome).
    Their Builds Page though only has the newest version and now you need to go to another page to see the version history: CCleaner - Version History

    First thing I checked for but fortunately the installer doesn't throw PUPS at you in this version :)
