CCleaner v5.54.7088

We're pleased to announce the latest release of CCleaner for Windows.

In this release, we have improved the behavior of notifications and enabled a preview feature for some paying users.

Some users of CCleaner Professional (and its trial) will find an early version of a new feature in the Tools menu. We will fully roll out this feature to CCleaner Professional in the coming weeks

Dumb question.....

What is the logic of offering a "mystery" new feature to paid customers, limiting to a "few" (not me ), and making no mention whatsoever the nature of what it is? They trying to get new customers? Won't get too many new customers from existing customers, unless the surprise of an unknown as yet UN-recevied "tool" entices you to re-up your license early. and

Quick Answer TC .....I have No Idea .... Just going to have to wait and see....or a person could email them I suppose.

They are playing Microsoft's game of A/B roll out of features in the IP releases. Dumb there and dumber here. If you add a feature and you're not sure people will like or want it, provide a means of disabling it.

Just updated manual from 5.54 to this latest version ..

I am with you, as mine does not show this new feature either. I just posted a question about this issue on Piriform's Forum. No idea what is going on.
