Testing my theory/observation that the Slim version of CCleaner appears one week after the standard and zip file versions, I visit the CCleaner Download Builds page this morning (exactly one week after the 5/25 release of version 5.43) and see this:
I'm not sure that means "theory confirmed," but it sure doesn't mean "theory disproved!"

Oh, I should try CCleaner alternatives...
Where do you suggest to start with?
PS: I am paranoid about my privacy

Wise Disk Cleaner - Free Disk Cleanup and Defrag Tool
A far superior product that also does not scan for malware as does Ccleaner Standard. To know this you only have to look at the finished scan on CCleaner. I prefer Aps that do NOT do things on their own. When I need a Malware scan I use MalwareBytes
Wise is more powerful and often finds things that ccleaner doesn't so you need to go through the options and disable things you want to keep. Its definitely a good alternative.
I prefer to leave malware fighting to software designed for the task, so I usually disable that too.
