    This worries me...

    What's next? Pushing ads?
Think I will stick with CCleaner 5.39
Ccleaner 5.40 is last good release, you can install that one without any worries about adds of any kind.

While installing I got no mention of Chrome or Avast. Did a thorough check for traces of both after installation and found not a trace.
Its still early, they have given themselves permission to add them any time they want. 5.40 is best choice. Choice is yours of course.

This new version is slow at scanning registry, long hesitation at 18%. Not much better when scanning system. 5.42.6495 x64 Pro.
    5.41 was perfect here.

Always getting Chrome (deselect) for the Pro version since a very long time now.

So when this "10" is released will it be as straight forward as putting in a legal s/n or will it have to be wiped and reinstalled.
