It was bad enough when they started "hiding" the install options, that you had to notice the "customize" install option to uncheck all the stuff you don't want.
Now they sneakily add this foistware pre-selected!
It might be time I look for another all-in-one cleaner again
There are also reports I've read (don't ask where - I read a lot of reports), that states that even deselecting theCrapware"Freebies" still results in Toolbars being installed in some Browsers
This gets my goat enough I might go mention this at Malwarebytes forums, that Ccleaner might need to be reevaluated:

Keith, I don't need it, I always look at installers, It's their trickiness that I do not like now, and it will catch less advanced/cautious users. Especially when an antivirus hooks real deeeeep into a system, and sometimes only a reimage or a clean install for people that don't image, is the only way to fix things.
Anti-Viruses use rootkits so they can check & protect the system at boot(which is a good thing), and that, can screw things up when uninstalling, specially uninstalling without that vendors specialized uninstall tool, which most users don't even know the AV vendors have.
