    I used to use Ccleaner-Windows- and program removers, but would rather miss deleting a few wasted files than a valid file.
    Ccleaner and anything that can drop a file should only be used by pros who can tell what they are removing.
    I learned the hard way and thank goodness for an image.

    The Piriform team are happy to announce the latest release of CCleaner for Windows.

    CCleaner v5.31 brings improved Windows 10 Creators support, alongside updated browser cleaning for Firefox and Chrome. A list of changes can be found in the change log below.

    Well trying to update, click the DOWNLOAD NOW button and I'm redirected to filehippo.com to download 7Zip (required) and this is what I get:

    You are right. Funny thing is I clicked the Update Available button in CC. It sent me to the piriform page. The Download button there then sent me off to filehippo. Right off I knew something wasn't right.

    At least I know Malwarebytes is working.
