I LOVE CCleaner has used it since windows 7, if i remember correctly.
I already have the new update. It works for any browser but remember to
do your normal system cleaning and defragment stuff.
Note: Pay attention to what you select for indivisible and advanced deletion.
for example if you have your system remember your codes for everything
and you don't have em jotted down... I would not select clear saved passwords.
CCleaner also has a nice little registry fixer too!
I am using the latest CCleaner Pro version, 64 bit. What I have observed in this, but also in the previous build, is that my Recycle Bin appears to not get emptied with a single pass. It takes two passes for it to appear empty.
[Has] Anyone else observed this issue?
You have to be careful during the installation process to make sure that the right options are ticked/or unticked to avoid installing crapware/pups like Chrome or toolbars. The slim version desc says "no toolbar" so it still might install Chrome by default. The portable version is the cleanest and doesn't come with any pups. The slim/portable version is linked in the OP.
After installing Cumulative Update KB3206632
I got a message that Ccleaner version 5.19
was not compatible with my version of Windows (10).
I ran Ccleaner version 5.19 just yesterday.
Updating Ccleaner to version 5.25 solved the problem.
Not too long ago Shawn told us about the new Ccleaner. Can someone show me where to download it? Thanks
