Ahh so you have Monitoring ON in CCleaner?? I do not. Maybe that's why I never have those problems like you and David.
Mine opens in a sec no problems. I also run my CCleaner every day.....:)
I have monitoring on but mine starts up fast like yours also I clear mine every day
What I like about the Monitoring is when you come out off a site or forum your Browser has been cleared and cleaned

NO WAY!!! I never allow any 3rd party software to monitor my systems(that's why I use Defender)
Hahaha...ok Cliff...calm down....all CCleaner would do is delete cookies, mostly. Just trying to figure out why you guys have those slow opening CCleaners.... and mine is lighting fast?? Oh well......

Update: This is on BOTH my computers, 2nd computer is like 9 years old...No problems with any slow CCleaner.

It is a running problem with Ccleaner since the went with the new UI. In their forums many(not all or even a whole bunch, just many), have complained about it. I don't worry too much, and I guess David doesn't either. It might make for an interesting poll though

Yes, there was no such issue before. Only lately, but I don't keep track how "lately" is that.
Now that I know it isn't my computer and that it will load eventually, I'll wait.

Yes you guys are fine, David doesn't worry about it either, but it would drive me nuts, if CCleaner did that to MEEE. But I've been running it fer years now, with no problems on both my babies. Got to be something causing it thou.....
    Take Care Cliff. :)

    OldMike65,

I wonder if this scenario applies to you.
If I open CCleaner first time of the day, it takes quite some time before it appears. I do mean quite sometime.
However, if sometime later on the same day I open it again, it pops out instantly.

Does that happen to you ?
Hi David. I have found out this is due to a Task scheduler task CCleaner creates every installation/update. To make it fast, you can delete this entry from task scheduler but maybe you need to set up CCleaner main executable to always run with admin privileges.
