You can download it but it's likely to be buggy. (The portable version)

We have paused releases of CCleaner Portable while we resolve a compatibility issue. We aim to have this resolved in v6.03.

Also note that if you downloaded and ran 5.92 portable there will be a lot of registry changes to undo to fix things. Hence the currently available version is still 5.91

It's included as a trial if you download a non Pro version. I'm not sure what happens if you use it. Possibly it works for a limited time or else prompts the user to upgrade to Pro. I block in firewall and only get this:

Also there have been issues with Ccleaner portable versions newer than 5.91 so if you've used those it would be best to remove them and do a full cleanup including ccleaner registry files (if they exist) and go back to 5.91 portable until there is an official working release.

Interesting. I deleted the optimizer service and files and Ccleaner still works with the performance optimizer option removed.

Edit: Removing the driver updater seems to be a simple matter of deleting the .dll

They seem to be having problems implementing the new stuff in the portable version.

For me enough would be just the uninstaller, cleaner, and reg cleaner, and the settings for those items, (specially the cookie selector.). I just don't use another items in Ccleaner.

That's odd since the portable version I use on 3 PCs has just been updated to the latest version

They are still offering 5.91 portable as the official bug free download.

Unless of course they've fixed the issues and rolled out updates to existing users before updating the download links.

Oddly my version of CCleaner portable is at the latest version. I can see it has uploaded the files in the download folder where I keep it and there is no installed program.
