Best to use the portable version as it doesn't "call home" and to ignore the registry cleaner and driver updater which is only available on a paid version anyway.

I agree completely.

Although I admit, I'm running a portable version, a couple months old.

Still, I believe CCleaner offers value.

I use the portable version too. It even auto updates to the same directory where you stored the portable version.

Well that's not worth updating for, it's there own fault when they slam their own servers and DDOS themselves
